Ingredients

Cake Batter Ice Cream

  • 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup dry vanilla cake mix (i used betty crocker)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles plus more for garnish

What to do

1. Seriously, the easiest recipe!! Using a stand mixer and whisk attachment (hand mixer also works!), whisk whipping cream at medium speed then increase to high speed. Once you see thick and stiff peaks forming, turn off mixer.

2. Pour in condensed milk, vanilla, cake batter mix and fold with a rubber spatula. Next, add the sprinkles, mix well with rubber spatula. Pour ice cream mix into an 8×8 or bread loaf pan. Top with more sprinkles then freeze for at least 5-6 hours. Scoop and enjoy!

Helpful tips

Here are some important Pro tips by Maude

  • When measuring your cake mix, be sure not to scoop your measuring cup into the mix (that is too much!) You want to spoon your cake mix into your measuring cup (spoonful by spoonful) until the cup is full. Then use a knife to scrape off the top, excess dry mixture. This tip will ensure that you are not using too much dry ingredients in your recipe.
